Do you remember the besiege of Lizardhill? Almost all men were killed in the battle with Moon's Slayers. Only women and children remained in that settlement. After that, they repelled the attacks of a superior enemy for eight months. In the end, the Slayers were exhausted in this siege and were defeated by their neighbors. This settlement still exists because they had the strength. The strength that was not only within their walls but also in their determination.

Great post again Oleks!  Are you going to publish this as a book??

After that, they repelled the attacks of a superior enemy for eight months. In the end, the Slayers were exhausted in this siege and were defeated by their neighbors. This settlement still exists because they had the strength.[First you are talking about strength generally so you don't use the article - then you go on to speak about a specific type of strength, so you use the article]  T - the strength that was not only within their walls but also in their determination. [No comma needed after 'walls' as you are using the conjunction 'but'].

Hi Ros! Thank you for your encouraging! About publishing, I don't know yet. I would like to become a writer, but I don't know how ready I am for this and whether I can ever become one.

As for this story, I think it is hardly sutable for publication. I would like to write a book in English, but I think it will be more likely a "non-fiction" book if I get to that level.
