Hi Aida, welcome to Lingora. Wow! I am impressed by your accent. Have you ever lived in an Egnlish speaking country? You have chosen the right platform to improve your English. Here, you can post text and audio and get corrected so that you can find out about the areas you need to improve. You can also send me a message so that we can have conversations which can help you improve your language skills. Good luck!

Regarding your request, here is a revised version:

Hello, everyone! My name is Aida Suliman. I am 22 years old. Um... I would like an English speaker to practice with me so that I can improve my English. Thank you!

Hi Aida, welcome to Lingora. Great to have you on board :-)

I am very impressed with your spoken English. Your pronunciation is excellent. I would love to help you improve your English and help you practice.

Just one observation

1. I am 22 years-old (You said I'm a 22 years-old) Listen to my pronunciation of the phrase

Also, you would say "I want someone who is an English speaker to practice with me"

Make sure you continue to post as many audios and texts for us to evaluate on here as you can smiley. You will make a lot of progress with your speaking and writing skills in a short space of time!

I have some questions for you:

1. Which country are you from?

2. How are you currently learning English? Do you go to classes or do you learn alone, by yourself?

My suggestion would be for you to practice your writing and speaking skills by posting as often as you can on Lingora :-) You will always receive comprehensive, detailed feedback on your texts and audios in a matter of hours!

If you would like to make even more progress (in a much shorter space of time) with your spoken and written English, I would highly recommend you take a look at our experienced, qualified English tutors in Lingora's virtual shop. They will be able to give you customised lessons on a regular basis. Which country are you based in?

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks smiley

This is a good short introduction of yourself. It was a little hard for me to understand some of the middle due to mic, but good job. One small correction: "I would like someone who speaks English to practice with me"

Hi Aida and welcome.  My fellow editors have already given some suggestions.  Your accent and intonation are really good.  It's ok to say "I want someone who speaks English...." but it's a little more polite to say "I would like someone who speaks English".  Especially in the UK, native English speakers try to avoid using speech that is too direct (except with good friends or family members!).  So we would say "I would like a cup of coffee please".  Also, we can use the request:  "Could I have a cup of coffee?".  Probably, at home, they would say "Can I have a coffee?"

This is a really good site and everyone is really supportive so I think you've come to the right place ;)

Warm regards

Ros

Hi! Thanks for this, your accent is really strong!

Rather than saying 'I want someone to help me', I would probably say 'I would like someone to help me'.

Thanks, Becky :)
