Challenge 2: All about Slugs!! (29/04/2016)

@ Portuguese speakers, please let me know what you think :-)

You are doing great!
Just a few words didn't sound ok:

caseiro - it sounded like "casseiro". A "S" between two vowels has a sound of "Z"

entre - The English R is very different from the Portuguese ones.

considerados - it sounded like "considerrados". If you have a single R in the middle of a word its sound is the same as the single R in Spanish (like in caro). Anyway, the double RR is different between Spanish and Portuguese (we use a sound similar to the English H).

resultados - same thing, our initial R (who begin a word) has a sound of English "H", like our double "RR" in the middle of a word.

você - the last syllable is the stressed one.

Another words who doesn't sound natural: tormentos, minúsculos, comê-las, podem.

Your rhythm and entonation is good.
The nasal vowels still a problem (são, não), but it is not affecting the general understanding.
Great job!

Excellent, Thank you so much for this detailed feedback Paulo. I am going to listen carefully to you reading out the passage in Portuguese then see if I can correct the mistakes I have been making. I had no idea about the souble RR sound in Portuguese, so now I know :) I am still having real issues pronouncing the nasal vowels like são and não but I think I will just need to keep saying them over and over again. Thanks again for your feedback, I really do appreciate it! Like I am going to do with Spanish, I am going to listen to your audio each day and try and imitate it. Then, at the end of the week I will upload a new, revised version onto Lingora. Hopefully I will improve!
