I am looking for a good native speaker who understands me to help me to improve my English. I am 19 years old and I am from India.

  1. When using "I" as a personal pronoun, it is always capitalized.
  2. English and India are proper nouns, therefore they are capitalized
  3. Native is an adjective, therefore it is not capitalized.
  4. Years is in the plural, so it requires an 's' at the end of it.
  5. Good native speaker is a countable noun, therefore it requires an indefinite article in front of it.
  6. A space is required after a period.
  7. I removed the 'and' and put the verb 'to help' in the infinitive as it sounds more natural.
  8. Optional: remove the 'to' before improve to sound less formal in spoken English.

Hello Amandeep,

Welcome to Lingora. I would be delighted to help you improve your English. Make sure you regularly add audios of yourself practicing your speaking skills and written texts (like this one) where you practice your writing skills and native English speakers will always help you improve.

With regards to your text, it is very good but as Patricia has pointed out you do need to pay attention to those grammar points...

Hi!

Thanks for this!

Why not try writing a longer extract next time to really put your English skills to the test?

As mentioned above, there are a few things to work on grammar wise and by leaving more texts and audios on Lingora, I'm sure we can all help you to improve!

Becky :)
