Hi there!  First of all, welcome to Lingora!

I was very impressed with your audio post.  Your intonation and pronunciation are really good.  I think you just need practice to build your confidence.  I would recommend doing, perhaps, a post a day.  You will always receive feedback.  Think of a topic that interests you, or perhaps, one that you think will interest us!

Warm regards

Ros

I agree with Ros, pronunciation sounds good. I also agree in that you should try and post a text/audio in Lingora as much as possible, but to also be sure to study the corrections so that you can improve. Writing is a good way to learn because you get to look up words that you may not have known before. Good luck

Hi Ali. Welcome to Lingora. You have chosen the right platform to improve your English skills. Here, you can post text and audio and we will evaluate your writing and speaking skills respectively and point out what you need to work on. For a list of topics to talk about, check out this link:

One more thing, I think by one of your “last attempts” you mean “latest attempts”, am I right?

By the way, you speak English very well! When and how did you start learning English? I have been to Shiraz a few times and I loved it every time. You have some of the finest wines over there.

Thanks for your advice. actually i mean litterally "last" in "one of my last attempts" since I've tried so much to speak english but i couldn't succeed and if this one doesn't go well, I won't endeavour any more.

Hi Ali,

Great to have you here! As the others have pointed out, Lingora is a fantastic platform for you to work on improving your speaking skills. I can tell that you already speak English very clearly and have excellent pronunciation. Have you ever been to an English-speaking country? If ever you want to the UK, make sure you let me know smiley I live in Manchester but most of my family is based in London.

My advice would be for you to keep a diary on Lingora. Each day, you should come to the site and add an audio of yourself speaking about things like your hobbies, your future plans, your past experiences and your aspirations. As you want to become even more confident at speaking English, practicing (and receiving feedback from English speakers like us) on a consistent basis is (in my opinion) the only way forward! I am doing this with the languages I learn and am already seeing improvements in my writing and speaking skills.

Aliakbar has recommended a good link which advises you what you can talk about, so make sure you check it out!

I am looking forward to hearing more from you very soon :-)

I'll consider your advices Ed. actually I agree with you, based on my experience, the best and maybe the only way of getting better in English speaking is to interact with native English speakers.
