Learning English with proper grammar

I am a Gujarati and I can speak English to a certain extent. But I feel I am not actually good at it, coz of my grammar. I feel I really need to work on it, to understand proper sentence making with respect to Noun, Pronoun, Verb, Adjective, etc.. I need guidance as of how do I go about it. Shall remain thankful if someone here can guide me in the right way.

Hi Jari. Welcome to Lingora, glad to have you here. You have chosen the right platform to improve your English. From your request, I guess you have got the hang of it. All you have to do it try to write longer texts and record yourself speaking English and post them here. Then, you can get corrected and learn from your mistakes. That way you can improve your English in no time! As a start, let's look at your request:

I am a Gujarati and I can speak English to a certain extent. But I feel I am not actually good at it, coz (because/ Coz is too informal) of my grammar. I feel I really need to work on it, to understand proper sentence making with respect to Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adjectives, etc. I need guidance as of on how do I should go about it. Shall remain thankful (I would appreciate it) if someone here can (Also “could” which is more polite) guide me in the right way.

Let me know if you have any questions. Keep it up!

Hi Jari and welcome

Your English already seems pretty good. Aliakbar has done a good job at making the few corrections that were needed. Just keep writing and don't be afraid to use the nouns, pronouns, verbs and adjectives. If they are wrong we can correct you!

Warm regards

Ros

I agree in that we can just work on small corrections in your writing. The best way to use Lingora is to practice writing as often as you can and post those writings to Lingora so that you can receive feedback. Once you receive feedback, it is important that you study the corrections and over time you will improve for sure. You will make mistakes, but it's ok. Those are necessary in order to get better. Good luck

I can see you've got a good grip of the language as you wrote "coz" instead of "because", which is a more "slang" or colloquial way of saying/writing that word.

I'd suggest just keep sending us posts so we can review them, usually a nice paragraph will be better than just a few sentences so we can see where you're really at, and what you'd need help with.

Welcome!
